Rice Precision Manufacturing

This is a brief list of several of our machines. All of our machines are Mazak machines that use Mazak's Mazatrol programming language. Mazak leads the industry for high quality highly accurate CNC machines, and the Mazatrol Conversational language greatly reduces the time spent programming a cutting operation compared to CAM software or G-code. Less time is spent programming the machines and more time is spent making parts, decreasing overall costs and turnaround time.

This is a Mazak Super Quick Turn 10M Lathe. It is a 2.5 axis lathe with some milling capabilities. A large variety of parts can be turned and milled at the same time in this lathe, greatly decreasing turnaround times and total cost.

This is a Mazak Super Quick Turn 10MS. This Lathe is the same as the SQT-10M, however this lathe has a rear spindle. The extra spindle decreases total operations and increases productivity and turnaround times.

This is a Vertical Traveling Column 16B, it is perfect for milling large parts while still retaining high tolerances.

This is a Nexus 510C, a vertical mill with a large tool magazine. The increased tool capacity eliminates the need to swap tools during cutting operations. This speeds up cutting times, increases cutting accuracy, and a faster turnaround time.

This is a FJV-25, an oversized table vertical mill. An integrated Reneshaw MP12 Probe Coordinate Measuring system can check cut parts during regular operations to assure that even the most strict tolerances are followed. Tolerances down to a tenth of an inch can be adhered to easily with the assistance of the probe.

These are FJV-20 Vertical mills. One is equipped with a 4th axis which allows more intricate cuts to be made with fewer cutting operations. The other is equipped with the same Renishaw MP12 Probe Coordinate Measuring system as the FJV-25.
